Queer as Flowers Bandana

Sale price£22.00

A celebration of growth, colour and becoming. No rainbow in sight.

Bold blooms at the centre, surrounded by violets, lavender and wild foliage. Every flower is here for a reason. Violets go back to Sappho. Lavender became shorthand for queerness long before anyone said the word out loud. Green carnations were Oscar Wilde's signal to his friends. Queer people have been using flowers to find each other for centuries, hidden in plain sight.

Framed with four phrases: Gender Grows Wildly. Biology Loves Exceptions. Nature Isn't Binary. Queer As Nature.

They aren't slogans. They're facts dressed up as poetry.
