About Fox

Fox Fisher is an artist, author, filmmaker and campaigner, awarded an Honorary Doctorate for their work on trans issues in the media.

Fox has created over 100 films via My Genderation, from documentary to music videos to fiction. After 10 years filming with a trans boy to man, Fox was supported by BFI Doc Soc to create 'Life of Kai'.

A co-founder of Trans Pride Brighton and founder of both the Brighton International Trans Film Festival.

Fox has screen-printed live and hosted Trans Art Club at Tate Modern for Tate Lates and the V&A.

Born in London, Fox lives in Brighton with their partner, three cats and a very silly pointy dog.

National trans positive campaigns created for Bloom & Wild and LUSH. Brand collaborations include Honda, Virgin, Deliveroo, Nike, Skittles, IKEA and Giphy.

Consultant for trans storylines for books, TV and Netflix, including Sex Education and Hollyoaks. Fox runs media interactions via All About Trans, working with BBC, Channel 4, the Mail on Sunday and the Observer.

Fox has 4 published books - one gifted to Piers Morgan on live TV while defending non-binary rights for 15+ minutes.

Books: Are You A Boy Or Are You A Girl, Trans Teen Survival Guide (translated into Spanish and Polish), Trans Survival Workbook, Trans Pride Colouring Book. Fox also created Never Too Late Comic and co-founded the Trans Book Fest and Trans Comic Fest. Thanks to a mentorship with Hachette, Fox has more in the works.
